Who is this retreat for?
The Covenant Connection Journey is designed for married couples who want to strengthen their covenant, singles who are intentionally preparing for marriage, and community members who want to celebrate covenant culture.
Can I attend just Thursday night?
Yes! The Celebrate & Pursue track is a standalone Thursday evening experience open to everyone for $49 per person. You can also upgrade on-site to continue the full weekend journey.
What is included in the Preservation Track?
The Preservation Track ($399 per couple) includes Thursday’s Celebrate Night, Friday’s Sacred & Sexy couples sessions with guided date night planning and joint covenant lunch, and Saturday’s intensive Preservation sessions with printed materials, structured exercises, and long-term strategy tools.
Is this a faith-based event?
Yes. Marriage Rewired is faith-rooted and centers covenant as the foundation. The experience is practical, immersive, and designed for transformation grounded in biblical principles of marriage.
Where is the retreat located?
The retreat takes place at the Embassy Suites Riverfront in Wilmington, NC along the beautiful Riverwalk. Hotel booking details with group rates will be shared soon.
Can singles and couples interact during the weekend?
Absolutely. Thursday evening is a shared experience for all attendees. Friday includes a joint covenant lunch. However, Friday sessions and Saturday’s intensive are track-specific to ensure focused, intentional experiences.

Kwame & Nakia Stringfield are the founders of Marriage Rewired and the hosts of the Marriage Rewired Retreat. Their passion is helping singles pursue covenant with intention and equipping married couples with practical, Biblical-rooted tools to build and preserve love that lasts.
They believe covenant is more than a moment—it’s a daily decision. Through teaching, guided experiences, and honest conversation, they help couples move from surface-level connection to lasting alignment.

A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Arlando Jasper serves as founder/Lead Servant of I John Fellowship and the Apostolic Elder of Fellowship Churches International, a group of missional interdenominational churches whose primary mission is to help people encounter God by bringing the church experience into non-threatening, non-traditional spaces—allowing people to engage with God through fellowship and service to the community.
Apostle Jasper holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Nazarene University with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership. He is also a Certified Chaplain and Biblical Family Counselor with more than 20 years of experience.
He has a long history of community service as a social worker, social justice advocate, and program coordinator. He is a founding member and former Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Community Support Coalition, and a two-time former president of the North Tulsa Ministers’ Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Dr. Melinda Harper is a best-selling author, educator, and marriage & relationship mentor. With over two decades of experience as an educator and twenty years of marriage, Melinda has been endowed with the skill of motivating and inspiring people of all ages.
Her passion is helping married couples—and those who desire marriage—(re)discover their vision and purpose. Her book has been used as curriculum in many marriage preparation programs, including Wifin' It with Cora Jakes-Coleman.
